Ben Pollock was raised in a family of small business owners and experienced corporate executives. Being immersed in business, from the small family-operated outfit, to the multi-national corporations, taught him what is involved in the day-to-day running of a business as well as the large-perspective strategic planning. And being a small business owner himself, Ben knows what it’s like to lay awake at night concerned about your business. It’s this background that influenced his decision to focus his practice on representing businesses in the increasingly complex arena of laws and regulations.
Ben received his J.D. from The Pennsylvania State University, The Dickinson School of Law, where he focused his studies on business, tax, and intellectual property related courses. He also had the honor of writing for and later editing the Penn State International Law Review (later transformed into the Penn State Journal of Law and International Affairs). He wrote his article comparing US and French trademark law.
Ben was awarded his B.A. from Utah State University, where he played baseball and served his fellow-students as a College Senator and on the Student Body Executive Board.
Ben is a native of Southern California, but has called the mountains of Utah home since 1995. He is a proud husband and father. He loves traveling, has lived and worked in France for two years and represents clients across the country. He enjoys baseball, golf, and outdoor sports such as fly-fishing and biking.
Practicing Law A Little Differently
Imagine a lawyer who knows more than just the law, a lawyer who knows business. Imagine a law firm that chooses to scrap the billable hour for fixed fees, taking more financial risk on itself, and putting the client first. Imagine a law firm that will work with you and your schedule. Imagine a law firm that doesn’t require you to come into the office every other week, or track billable time when you call in to see how things are going.
The Juniper Law Firm was founded on the idea that there is a better way to serve clients than the traditional law firms have been doing for almost a century. Billable hours are gone. Stuffy offices are gone. Your Juniper Law lawyer will review your legal needs during a free initial consultation and then come back to you with several custom-tailored, fixed-price service packages to choose from, each designed to meet your needs and exceed your expectations. And if you’d like to meet with your attorney during the process, he’d be happy to take time out of his day and pay you a visit at your office. Businesses now have a CHOICE! Choose the firm that puts your business first. Choose Juniper Law.
